Internet.

enables
any business or consumer with an email address to securely,
conveniently,
and cost-effectively send and receive payments. Unlike other options,
using
Paypal, allows you to send and receive payments from anyone that has an
E-Mail Account, not just for sports related activities. Over 63 Million
Businesses and people are currently using PayPal for their On-Line
payment
needs.
The
PayPal
network extends the existing financial infrastructure of bank accounts
and credit cards and creates a global payment solution. PayPal
automatically
encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to
theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption
key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available).
Once
your information
reaches PayPal, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both
physically
and electronically. PayPal's servers sit behind an electronic firewall
and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private
information
is available only to authorized computers.
You
still must
download and send in the waiver paperwork even if you are registering
On-Line.
We will need one for each person on your team as well as your support
crew.
We know you may have
last
minute changes
in crew, so we will have extras that can be filled in at the Friday
night
Pre-Race meeting. But PLEASE!! don't abuse this option. Last year it
seemed
90% waited till the meeting to do the waiver paperwork. It was total
chaos,
getting teams checked in, waivers signed, it was just way too much
going
on. So PLEASE!! download a copy and mail it in. But we MUST
have the Waiver, or you don't race.
